Iris in Bloom & Farmhouse Gardens Open on Weekends
Jennifer Johnson has planted what seems like hundreds of iris and depending on the weather, this variety is traditionally in full bloom near Memorial Day. This year, with an early spring, the forecasted prime bloom time for the purple iris in the Herb Garden might be a little earlier - maybe even a week - May 14th - May 31st. Updates will be posted on Facebook as the spring progresses.
Gardens Open for Viewing & French-Style Picnics:
During the weekends, buy French picnic-fare in the winery – baguettes, charcuterie, cheese, dried fruits, and wine – and enjoy a “plein air” picnic at tables set up adjacent to the iris gardens. No charge for garden access; no reservations required. Please no groups larger than six.
