A Special Seyval Blanc Harvest
Our winemaker, Jeff Murphy, is a creative winemaker and he likes to experiment with new techniques for naturally enhancing our estate wines. This year, he is interested in having a portion of the Seyval Blanc harvest completed by hand - and they will be frozen to preserve the unique aromas in this grape. That's where you come in! He has finally decided that the harvest date should be Saturday, September 14th - sometimes Mother Nature makes it difficult to forecast!
Weather permitting, pick grapes in the morning and then enjoy a picnic lunch.
Schedule:
9:30am - Arrive at the winery. Park near the Seyval Blanc vineyard, which is just behind the winery. Register & pick up clippers. Have a cup of coffee and a slice of baguette with home-made jam.
9:30+am - Pick grapes!
At about 12:30 - Enjoy a Harvest Picnic. We are working on the menu - and hope to have it published here soon. It will include Perrier, wines, a cheese & charcuterie board, and a main course TBD.
NOTE on Attire:
Comfortable walking shoes and shorts or jeans; remember your hats and sun-screen if a sunny day!

Make reservations online or by calling the winery at 716-326-2191. This event is limited to 30 "pickers". Advance tickets: $30.00 per person. Online tickets are not available within 24 hours of the event. In this case, please call the winery to see if tickets are still available.
