Many of you know that I am a francophile - but you might not know that Fred and I both spent time studying in Belgium and, years later, celebrated our marriage with a honeymoon in France. So, celebrating February's Valentine's Day with a "soirée a la française" makes sense to us!  Begin with drinks and light appetizers in Johnson Estate’s historic tasting room. Then, with glass in hand, make your way "behind-the-scenes" to join us in our warehouse to savor a French-inspired five-course meal, catered by Vicki McGraw of Elegant Edibles, with wine pairings.  .

Brut Rosé
Our newest addition to the winery's portfolio of over 40 wines - this méthode champenoise sparkling wine is made from hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes. Don't worry about finishing this bottle - it's easy. Pairs well with or without food.

The Queen's Catawba
A sweet, tangy, and bubbly pink Catawba wine, inspired by America's first "champagne", produced in the 1800's by Nicolas Longworth.
