 VIRTUAL TASTING PARTY

What better way to celebrate the Year of the Dragon (February 3rd)? How about Peking Duck (and all of the sauces that go with it) and Johnson Estate wines?! We decided that since this is meant to be a party, we might as well offer not just two wines, Pinot Noir and Semi-Dry Riesling, but also our sparkling Brut Rosé, the newest addition to our wine collection.  So, yes, this is indeed a perfect pairing of the products of two-family-owned businesses, who are also Cornell alumni, as a way to celebrate the lunar new year.

Many of you know that Johnson Estate's owners, Fred and Jennifer, met while students at the Cornell University Johnson College of Business. We continue to participate in activities with the business school, most delightfully with the Smith Family Business (SFBI) Initiative and its director, Dann Van Der Vliet.  It was Dann's idea to have a "taste" of family business - with a series of virtual tasting events during the pandemic -
and we decided to do it again this year. We hope that you can join us - cheers!

Johnson Estate Winery and Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, Ltd. have assembled a special selection of wines and a DIY Peking Duck Meal Kit* for participants to savor. These will be mailed to you once you place your order and everyone will enjoy the meal together over Zoom at the time of the event. Instructions on how to prepare the duck will be sent by email.  Note that the wine and duck will be shipped separately.
