ON THE ESTATE
There are some sunflowers up by the pond, so if you are close enough to come for a vineyard walk in August or early September, there will be nice photo opportunuties!
It has been an interesting summer weatherwise. Mother Nature had provided regular, almost weekly rain, so the vineyards (and the lawns!) are very lush and green. Veraison, or the change in the color of the grapes, has begun, especially with the Pinot Noir, but the berries aren't sweet enough yet for harvest.
