As illustrated by these images, what a difference a week can make! The Concord grape vineyards seemed to have turned yellow all at once and the leaves on the trees are abundantly falling.

The 2023 harvest is officially complete and Fred was delighted that the last picking day was last Monday, the day before WNY received two inches of early snow. This year's harvest started later than usual, but the quantity and quality of the grapes has been good.  

The cooler weather and fall foliage remind us that that the holidays will be here before we know it (and yes, FLIGHT, our outdoor wine and charcuterie dining venue, is closed for the season and will reopen next spring). Since Veteran's Day is this weekend, we wanted to make sure you knew that our Torpedo Red is back on the shelves.

November - Free Tastings for Vets & Military

Donations to the EOD Warrior Foundation
November 11th is Veteran's Day - and every year, we dedicate the month of November to veterans and active duty miliary for free wine tastings. We do this to thank our military and to honor the winery's founder, Frederick S. Johnson,
who served in the Navy during World War II.

We'll also be donating $2/bottle to the EOD Warrior Foundation for every bottle of Torpedo Red, Founders' Red, and Maréchal Foch sold online or in the winery during the month.

TASTING ROOM WINTER HOURS:
Fridays & Saturdays, 10am - 6pm
Sundays - Thursdays, 10am - 5pm
