Each quarter, we send three seasonally-selected wines OR, you may customize the wine list AND the number of bottles ONLINE up to one week before each quarterly shipment. Wine shipment take place in January, April, July, and October.

We will remind you via email when you may tailor the list to suit your palate. Ship or Pick Up - your choice!

Shipping Begins after January 9th, 2026. Orders will be shipped as they are processed and packed by the Johnson Estate Winery Team.

Welcome to the January "Some Like It Sweet" Collection

In the heart of winter, there is nothing quite like a glass of something rich and vibrant to brighten the day. For our "Some Like It Sweet" members, we have selected a trio of our most storied and beloved wines—each one a perfect companion for a cozy January evening.

Your January Pre-Selections:

Ives (Estate-Grown)

The Award-Winning Red: A "Best of Class" winner, our Ives is a local treasure. With a 6.0% residual sugar, this garnet-red wine features a mellow but distinctive fruit character. It’s a surprising and delightful partner for savory winter dishes like eggplant parmesan or a cozy Friday pizza night.

Liebeströpfchen (Estate-Grown)

The "Little Love Drops": One of our most famous labels, this Delaware-based wine is light, fruity, and delicately sweet (6.0% sugar). It captures the essence of the grape with a clean, refreshing finish. It’s a wonderful "anytime" wine that pairs beautifully with fresh fruit, mild cheeses, or a Sunday brunch.

Ruby Port (Estate-Grown)

The Traditional Finisher: At 9.0% sugar, our Port is rich and dark with flavors reminiscent of currant and elderberry. Presented in a decorative, German-made terracotta bottle, it is made with estate-grown Chancellor grapes and fortified with grape spirits produced right here on the estate. The smooth sweetness is perfectly balanced by medium tannins and rich fruit. It is wonderful when paired with nuts, blue cheeses, and chocolate—in many combinations.
