HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR
This is the year of the tiger!  And why is this on the radar screen of a family-owned business in Western New York? Two reasons. 

First, our daughter, Blaine, learned to speak Mandarin and then earned a graduate degree in China six years ago. During the years when she studied there, we tended to see her not at Christmas, but during the Chinese New Year!

Second, two years ago, we partnered with Tasty Duck, a Cornell-family owned business in Pennsylvania that raises and sells duck meat of all sorts. That led to a celebration of the Chinese New Year in 2020 with Tasty Duck products. Their Peking Duck kit is a great way to celebrate the Chinese New Year; we like to pair it with our Semi-Dry Riesling or Traminette.  Both are great wines to enjoy with many Asian foods.
