NEW VINTAGE OF MAY WINE!
It's finally here! Spring has sprung all over the Estate, and aside from the beautiful flowers, thriving vines, and budding trees, our favorite thing about this season is a new vintage of May Wine.
First released in the spring of 2016, Johnson Estate’s May Wine is a semi-dry (residual sugar of 2.5%) and bubbly wine made from Vidal Blanc grapes and delicately flavored with an infusion of sweet woodruff. Winemaker Jeff Murphy was inspired by Germany's annual celebration of May Day – where the festivities include "MaiWein" or wine punch that features white wine, strawberries, and the shade-loving herb, sweet woodruff.

Saturday & Sunday Morning Vineyard Walks
We are pleased to once again offer Saturday and Sunday Morning Vineyard Walks every weekend until harvest begins in September (then we'll switch to Great Grape Walks!). Reserve your walk date and time today! Events are listed through June at this time with more to be added shortly.
Guests will be given a map of the Estate with distances indicated so that they may customize their walk as they wish. Seating is available at various locations on the Estate. Your ticket price ($35) includes a $10 gift certificate to be redeemed at our outdoor venue, FLIGHT. Children are welcome (no charge if under 21; please let us know in the Comment Section so that we can have juice available). Dogs on leashes are welcome, too!
OPENING FRIDAY: FLIGHT
Our outdoor venue, FLIGHT, is opening this Friday, May 24th! Now in its fourth year, FLIGHT offers flights of wine and wines by the glass expertly paired with generous cheese and charcuterie boards. The boards feature the highest quality products, some house-made and others locally-sourced, to complement a special selection of our award-winning wines. Enjoy stunning vineyard vistas and excellent service while you sip and savor.
Opening day for FLIGHT is Friday, May 24th, and we will remain open through mid-October (weather permitting, of course). Hours for the 2024 season are as follows:
Fridays through Sundays - 11:00am until 5:00pm
Mondays - 11:00am until 5:00pm beginning in July
We will also be open Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day from 11:00am until 3:00pm. We can't wait to see you!
