Winemaker Jeff Murphy was inspired by Germany's "mai wein" punch, which is served with strawberries and fresh sweet woodruff; this vintage of this sparkling wine has a very soft hint of sweet spices.

My 90 year-old father was reminiscing about a family tradition we had as I was growing up in Alaska. Every May Day, we would celebrate with a glass of May Wine and strawberries. After years of searching, I found Johnson Winery and placed an order. On May Day of this year, I was able to surprise my dad and let me tell you, it really made his day!
