2025 GREAT GRAPE WALKS
Enjoy a self-guided walk through the vineyards first planted by Fred Johnson in 1961. As you take in the smell of ripening grapes and the views of Lake Erie, you will be able to sample up to thirteen varieties of estate-grown grapes. Dependent on the date of your attendence, we will have different varieties ready for you to pick, including the Founder’s favorite, Chancellor. You will receive a vineyard map, a picking carton, and borrowed clippers to fill it.
NOTE ON SHOES, RAIN, CHILDREN, & DOGS:
Please wear appropriate walking shoes, hats, and outerwear. Hard rain cancels this walk with a refund, of course. Children who can happily walk with their parents and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. There is no charge for guests under 18. Please use the COMMENT SECTION of your online reservation to let us know how many children/young adults will be in your group. We will have Concord grape juice and water ready for them at the end of the walk.
