Winemaker Jeff Murphy is excited about this new vintage of 2023 Pinot Noir - he expects it to win many awards as did the 2022 vintage. Made with hand-picked estate-grown grapes. The light red for your summer meals - and in the fall and winter, still nice with light meals of all kinds. This vintage is deep and rich, fruit profile of black raspberry and morello cherry, sweet oak vanilla, fine tannins. Excellent body with a refreshing finish. The 2023 is a riper wine compared to the 2022 vintage. More intense fruit and much more expressive. The addition of new Hungarian Oak barrels adds a nice note of sweet vanilla. Will age gracefully.
