SUNDAY MORNING VINEYARD WALKS
Offered: May 30, June 13, 20, 27, July 4, 11, 18, 25, August 8, 15, 22, 29
Due to our concern for the safety of staff and guests during these times, this will be a self-guided tour with social distancing. We will have limited registrations for each time slot.
The farmhouse gardens are at the beginning of this self-guided walk.
And at the end of May, the iris should be in bloom there!
Guests will be given a map of the Estate with distances indicated so that they may customize their walk as they wish. Seating is available at various locations on the Estate and Owner Fred Johnson will be available for questions "on his gator!" The walk is followed by a three-wine flight of specially selected wines, small bits of cheese, nuts, and dried fruit, and finishing with an Estate-made dessert. Children are welcome (no charge if under 16). Dogs on leashes are welcome, too!
Guests select their walk time when they register online. When guests arrive for their walk, they will sign in at the Scale House in front of the Winery and be provided a map. The "long" walk is approximately two miles along roads/paths in the vineyards and woods and includes walking past the Estate Pond with vistas of Lake Erie.
