Melt one tablespoon of butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
Dust both sides of pork chops with Italian seasoning and Montreal Steak seasoning. Sear in pan, flipping when first side is starting to brown.
Spread chopped apple and onion around the pork chops, add another tablespoon of butter to the pan, and sprinkle apple and onion with additional Italian and Steak seasoning. Stir to evenly distribute the butter and seasonings.
Cook everything until the apple and onion are starting to soften but not turning to mush, and the second side of the chops is lightly browned and nearly cooked through.
Finally, drizzle the Maple Liqueur over everything and cook for a couple minutes until slightly reduced and the chops are done. Let the dish rest, off heat and covered in foil, for five minutes before digging in.
